The UUNA TEK 3.0 Pen Plotter allows you to create personalized letters efficiently by combining a letter template with Excel data. With the Binding and batch data functions, variable information such as recipient names and customized messages can be automatically applied to multiple pages.
1. Prepare the UUNA TEK 3.0 Software
Make sure the UUNA TEK 3.0 software is installed on your computer. If not, complete the software installation before starting this tutorial.Please refer to the following tutorial for the software installation video.

Open the software and select the appropriate paper size. This tutorial uses A5 paper as an example.
2. Add and Edit Letter Content
Click “Add Text”, enter the required text in the editing window, and click “Add” to confirm.
The added content will appear as a text box on the canvas.
Drag the text box to the desired position. Use the top parameter settings to adjust the font, font size, character spacing, and line spacing. Repeat these steps until the complete letter layout is ready.
3. Bind Variable Content to Excel
Prepare an Excel spreadsheet containing the information that needs to change between letters, such as recipient names and personalized messages.
Select the text box that needs to change, open the property panel, and click “Binding.” Enter the corresponding cell reference according to the Excel data position. For example, if recipient names are stored in Column A, enter A1 and confirm.
For other variable content, repeat the same process. For example, if the personalized letter body is stored in Column B, bind it to B1.
4. Import Batch Data
- Click “Batch application data” on the left side.
- Under the batch type, select “A table in a file has multiple pages (applicable to many pages in one sheet)”, then click “Next.”
- Select “Splitting with Rows” as the splitting method, then click “Next.”
- In the pop-up window, click “Browse files”, select and open the prepared spreadsheet file, then continue clicking “Next” until the import is complete.
5. Preview and Write the Letters
1.Use the page navigation controls to preview the generated letters. Check that recipient names, personalized content, and text positions are correct.
2.Place the paper and writing pen on the UUNA TEK 3.0 Pen Plotter and connect the machine to your computer. Click “Write” on the right side of the software to start writing the current page.
3.After the first letter is completed, check the physical result.
4.Replace the finished sheet with a new sheet, switch to the next page in the software, and click “Write” again. Repeat this process to complete the remaining personalized letters.
